Learn how to set up your search, change your preferences and manage notifications.

Getting started

Message @uuaadmin on Telegram to join the free pilot. We will explain how to start using the existing bot and help you set up your search. The new Mietway bot is still being tested.
Choose a bot language: Russian, Ukrainian or German.
Set your budget, minimum floor area, number of rooms and preferred districts. The bot may ask additional questions depending on your choices.
Review your preferences and confirm activation. New matches arrive in this chat.

Send /search or open your search from the menu.
Choose the setting you want to change and save your changes.
Pause stops notifications for that search. Resume it from the same section.
Use /menu to return to the main menu and /cancel to cancel an unfinished setup.

Open Quiet hours in your search settings. Choose notifications at any time, 22:00–08:00 quiet hours, or a custom period.
Times use Germany’s Europe/Berlin timezone, including daylight saving time.
The search continues during quiet hours. After the quiet period, matching listings collected during that time arrive in one digest.
Some listings may become unavailable during the pause. Around-the-clock delivery helps you notice new options sooner.

Kaltmiete is base rent without additional costs. Warmmiete includes the costs listed in the advertisement.
Electricity and internet may be extra. Always check the original cost breakdown.
If the price or rent type is unclear in the source, do not treat it as confirmed. Read the description and ask the advertiser.
A Jobcenter reference simplifies budget setup but does not replace official approval for a particular home.

WBS means Wohnberechtigungsschein, a certificate required for certain subsidised apartments.
Provide your WBS details at the relevant bot step, if it appears during your setup.
Check household, floor-area and document requirements in the original listing. A matching card does not confirm eligibility.

Check /search: your search should be active.
Check quiet hours and Telegram’s own notification settings.
Review budget, rooms, floor area and districts. Narrow criteria may produce few matches.
If the issue continues, contact support with the time, what you were doing and any error message. Do not send passwords or documents.

Availability can change after a notification arrives. Check the original platform.
The free search does not reserve apartments. You contact the advertiser and submit your application yourself.
Do not transfer money solely on the basis of a Telegram message. Verify the listing and rental terms first.
