Data from the existing product as of 8 October 2026.
How this timing is measured
Measured from when Mietway first recorded a listing to when a notification was recorded as sent. The median was 16.7 seconds across 2,719 notifications in the seven days ending 8 October 2026 at 08:23 UTC. Source: the existing product’s production notification history, excluding admin accounts and identified test listings. This does not measure time from publication on a platform or arrival on your phone. Quiet hours and other delays can affect individual notifications.

THE NEXT STEP FOR MIETWAY
In developmentMietway AI Assistant
We are developing a Telegram assistant to help with your housing search, using the profile details and listings you choose to share.
Ask questions in the chat
Get help understanding rental costs, required documents and what to do next.
Understand a listing
Compare a listing with your profile and highlight restrictions or missing information.
Prepare for a viewing
Draft a short introduction in German and questions for the landlord about that particular home.
Draft messages and plan next steps
Prepare an enquiry, a follow-up after a viewing and a checklist of documents for your next step.
How the assistant will use your profile
The assistant will use only the search preferences, profile details and listings you choose to provide for a particular task. Any additional correspondence details will come from materials you share yourself, with the required consent and within the law and platform rules. You review the draft and send it to the landlord yourself.
We plan to use Anthropic models. The assistant is not available yet.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions
Does Mietway only cover Hamburg?
Yes, we currently search for homes in Hamburg. Choose districts in the bot.
Do I need another app?
Telegram is all you need. Select “Request access” and message @uuaadmin. During the free pilot, we help you get started and set up your search personally.
What should I do with a matching listing?
Open the link in the notification, check the conditions and contact the landlord yourself on the listing platform.
Why might there be no notifications?
There may be no new matches yet. Check that your search is active, quiet hours are not in effect and your criteria are not too narrow. See Help & support for the next steps.
What does Warmmiete mean?
Rent including the stated additional costs. Electricity and internet may be extra — check the breakdown in the listing.
Can I use a Jobcenter budget reference?
Yes, if the bot has a limit for your household size. A budget match does not mean Jobcenter has approved the home.
NEED HELP?
Support at every step
We can help you set up the bot. If your search is taking a while, we’ll look at your situation and suggest what to change.
